After editing a English document in OpenOffice 3.2 I noticed there was no English ( VS ) spell checker installed.
This easily corrected. Just open Synaptic packet manager and search for “my-spell”.
Select the languages that you want to add to the spell checker.
Start OpenOffice and open the “spelling and grammar” with the F7 key. Select the language and done.
