Aeh, yeah
I did not find it in the repo of Ubuntu.
But then i will downloaded it manually from brother.

Hi Stefan.

I didn’t know that brscan2 was available in the software center. Brscan2 is only needed to scan with your brother all in one.

Hello everybody,
hello Jorink,

I have an dcp-357c as well.
Now I have installed those 2 brother-* packages and the udev-rules have been edited.

My question is: why do i need to download brscan2 manually and not via the softwarecenter of ubuntu? And what happens when I don’t get that brscan2 stuff?

Can anybody help here?
